About Extended Tree of Weatherill Family
Please sign in to see more.
The Weatherill family roots are bedded deep in the soil of Yorkshire, mainly in the Bedale area in early days, then the branches gradually spread towards Northallerton and as circumstances changed, to Thirsk and Topcliffe area. The family were originally farmers or tenant farmers (husbandmen), the younger sons 'mere' Ag Labs going from area to area as work permitted. As farming declined, my branch of the family drifted northwards into County Durham, leaving farming behind in the 1860's and entering coal mining to earn a living.
Through the tree you can link up with the other major family connections Baker and Kinder in Nuneaton, Warwicks, the Pymm and Newberry connections in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and I hope to add more information on subsidiary lines as I go on.

Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
